“I’m Ready For My Close-Up!” Dog Tries To Strike A Pose & Fails Miserably…

You’re totally working it for the camera and pulling off your best pose. In your head, you look amazing but when you finally see the photo, you realise you look more ghastly than glam. It’s something we’ve all experienced and it is awkward as hell when it happens.

It’s even worse when your BFF then decides to mortify you even further by posting the picture all over Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. Sigh.

With that being said, we couldn’t help but feel some severe pangs of compassion for this poor little Labrador who is in the middle of having a serious bad face day. And unfortunatly for him, his ‘bad face’ picture is now currently doing the rounds online. (We’ve been there Labrador. We’ve been there...)

Reddit user keen823 found this less-than-flattering picture on a local animal rescue’s Facebook page. The picture was posted with the following caption: “Our NELR Foster Director’s lab named Calvin, ate a little too much cake at Doggie Day Care yesterday!!!”

Calvin has instantly become an internet celebrity and has even earned himself a brand new nickname: “Labra-derp.” Nice, right?

“I love how the derpiness is amplified by the dashing hound on the left,” wrote one user.

Is it just us or does Calvin’s hilarious face make him even more adorable? If he didn’t already have an owner, we’d definitely adopt this derpy little dog!
