Travel the world and get paid to take pics of all the craic your having?

I mean… who would say no.

In fact, most people would only dream of this being their situation and one couple made it just that thanks to their clever eye for detail and imaginative shots.

Jack Morris and his girlfriend Lauren Bullen have turned their photo feeds into their salaries by promoting brands and locations while travelling and seeing the world together.

Based in Bali, but originally from the UK and Australia – Jack and Lauren have spent the last year travelling the world and taking images to their four million followers.

The couple who learnt they could make a living from this now only posting to Instagram for a brand for less than €2,700 with the pair earning from €7,000 to €8,000 each for previous Instagram posts.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan earlier this year, Jack even spoke about his biggest job yet that earned him some people’s yearly salary for just three days work. He said:”I did a job for a phone company where I flew out for three days; there were two days filming and then I had to do five photos on Instagram, and that was $35,000.” Yes, that is just over €29,000.

But the couple admit that they only post images they feel are a true reflection of their lives as well as only working with brands they believe represent them. Now although they edit their images using professional Adobe software and messing around to get the perfect angle etc, they assure their images are a true reflection of them saying:

“It might look quite planned out sometimes, but we’re just taking photos of what we’re doing anyway. Sometimes it’s a job and we’ll be told to take photos of things, but most of the time it’s pretty chilled. Everything that we take and put on Instagram is real life.”

Continuing Jack said…

“People follow us because they enjoy our content, so when we post about a brand, location, or whatever it is we’re being paid for, our followers trust it more than when they see a random advert in a magazine.”

Jack and Lauren are currently both in Senggigi, the Indonesian island of Lombok at present, capturing their travels and continuing to bring their followers along on their journey.

Long may it last, we are now pretty hooked.
