Ireland’s best restaurants have been announced at the Irish Restaurant Awards

There is nothing better than treating yourself to a fancy meal out, and The Irish Restaurant Award winners were just announced, which will make choosing your next dining experience a breeze.

Spotted by the guys on JOE.ie, the ceremony was held in the Doubletree by Hilton in Dublin on Monday, and the winning restaurant is also situated in the capital.

Luna on Drury Street has been open for less than a year but took home the award for overall best restaurant at the ceremony yesterday.

Best chef award went to Loam in Galway, with Enda McEvoy in charge of the kitchen there while they also won a regional award for best restaurant in Connacht.

The other regional award winners for best restaurant were 1826 Adare in Limerick, Browns Restaurant & Champagne Lounge in Derry and The Pigeon House in Wicklow.
