She might be spending half of her time in LA but television-presenter-turned-actress Caroline Morahan is keen to do more work in Ireland.
The star, who recently tied the knot with her other half Daithi O’Caoimh and is splitting her time on either side of the Atlantic, revealed that she would jump at the chance of doing more work in Ireland.
Caroline splits her time between Los Angeles and Dublin at the moment.
She told VIP magazine: “We are absolutely bursting with talent here. I’m really excited about the film television industry here, and I’d love to be more active in stuff on home soil.”
Caroline also revealed that she would like to see an Irish version of a certain period drama: “I’d love to see an Irish version of Downton Abbey.”

She said she would love to see an Irish version of the hit show Downton Abbey.
Not that she's sitting about twiddling her thumbs at the moment. Caroline is currently busy with her role in Anglo the Musical. Speaking about the show, she said: “It’s so much fun. Although it’s farcical, the story is very much rooted in reality.”
But that’s enough about that, back to this concept of an Irish version of Downton Abbey…
