The comedian was put in a broken seat for a 6 hour flight “without explanation”

An Irish comedian has called out Aer Lingus after a disastrous six-hour flight that saw his paid-for seat swapped for a broken one.

PJ Gallagher took to social media to beg the airline for answers after he paid “top dollar” for the journey that didn’t even offer any food choices.

The Nova Radio star was left upset after enduring the lengthy flight on a broken seat – despite having pre-booked.

He explained that although the staff were great on board, the issues were out of their control and he now wants the airline to sort him out.

He tweeted tagging Aer Lingus and asked: “Any chance you could sort me out?

“I’ve already sent you a DM about having my pre-booked seat taken off me and put in a broken one for a 6 hour flight without explanation.

“Paid top dollar for the flight too. The Wifi was also broken and no available food choices”.

Despite the bad experience, he went on to praise the staff for their service and said: “As usual your inflight crew and staff were top notch, but all of this was out of their control.”

Many of PJ’s followers responded to his tweet, telling tales of similar scenarios they went through on flights with Aer Lingus.

However, the airline has not publicly responded to the comedian on Twitter.
