These Irish-made Harry Potter-inspired candles are magical

Keeley Ryan

It’s been more than ten years since the last Harry Potter book hit shelves.

However, even now, the Boy Who Lived, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger still continue to cast a spell over fans across the globe.

Whether it’s over tasty Butterbeer marshmallows or some truly bewitching kitchen ranges, there’s no shortage of tributes to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling.

But these latest Hogwarts-themed items may be our favourite.

The Bearded Candlemakers have conjured up a number of gorgeous candles, from their Irish collection to the classics.

But the Co Down-based candlemakers’ Harry Potter-inspired range have really cast a spell over us.

These smell amazing! #HarryPotter #TheBeardedCandlemakers

First up is Professor Sprout’s Greenhouse, made using tomato leaf, cut grass and lemon.

It promises to be a really refreshing and clean candle, that smells “green”.

Many of the finest witches and wizards have taken some Felix Felicis for a bit of Liquid Luck – and now it comes in candle form.

Containing cosy notes of honey and oats, it’s a bit of magic.

Snape’s Doe has a subtle scent, that may not be obvious to everyone at first.

But fans of the series will soon recognise the notes of the simplest of scents: Lillies.

And then there’s Dumbledore’s Office, after everyone’s favourite Hogwarts headmaster.

With notes of cedar wood, lemon and ambergris, it will remind you of old books, lemon sherbets and something absolutely magical.

The candles are created at their workspace in the garden of their home near Downpatrick, Co Down.

They cost £8.50 (or around €9.50), with a flat shipping rate of £5.95 (approximately €6.50).
