Earlier in the week Westlife’s Kian Egan insisted that despite rumours to the contrary, he will be appearing on the new season of The Voice of Ireland. But is he REALLY coming back? REALLY?
We only ask because today the Irish Sun reports that Kathryn Thomas, the presenter of The Voice of Ireland has said that while she will definitely be back to host the show, none of the judges have actually signed any contracts yes. Hmm…suspicious…
According to Kathryn, Kian, Bressie, Sharon Corr and Brian Kennedy have all yet to put pen to paper to say that they will judge another season of the reality television talent show.
“I know that I’m going back but other than that I don’t know much,” said Kathryn, speaking about the programme.
“I’m sure none of the judges have signed anything yet but I’m confident they all want to come back,” she added.
Maybe so Kathryn, but how come none of them have actually jumped at the chance to sign a contract yet?

Kathryn Thomas has said that no judges have signed contracts yet.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Mirror on Wednesday, Kian Egan said the following: “I’m not planning to quit. I’m in talks with them at the minute – we’re just sorting out dates and things like that. I’m well up for doing ‘The Voice’ again. I don’t know where the idea that I’m not came from.”
“It’s definitely a show I loved doing, I really enjoyed it last year. So I have no reason not to want to do it again. At the moment my agent is doing the deal and sorting it all out,” he added.
Kian recently landed a spot on UK telly co-presenting Britain’s X-tra Factor and there have been rumours flying about the place that the singer was planning on settling down in the UK to pursue his budding television career.
“It’s completely not the case that I’m just going to be working on stuff in the UK. I’m really looking forward to ‘The Voice’ this year,” said Kian.
What do you think ladies? Is it a bit dodgy that he hasn’t signed a contract yet? Would you be heartbroken if Kian did decide to leave the show?
