It Can Actually Happen! An Irish Man Has Won €10,000 On A Scratch Card

Talk about an early Christmas present! It had always seemed to be a bit of a myth to us that you could actually win ten grand on a scratch card but now, one Irish man has proved that dreams really can come true with the swipe of a coin. Usually, we get a scratch card and match two of everything (while almost having a heart attack when we have two €10,000's and go to scratch the next line and think we’ve got three – it’s really just €100 though), or if we’re lucky, manage to bag a free one. There’s hope for us all though as was proved this week by Andrew Thornbury, who is now living in Dubai, when he went and won ten grand thanks to a scratch card his mammy sent him over for his birthday this week.
