Sure, it's a little bit mean - but don't act like you haven't made at least one tourist friend repeat this.
Tullamore D.E.W.'s Tim Herlihy appeared on popular YouTube channel The Broadcast TV recently, teaching the American hosts how to make some warming winter cocktails with the well-known Irish whiskey.
While there, he couldn't resist the opportunity for an impromptu lesson in Gaeilge.
The cheeky chap told hosts Lisa Pineiro and Dawn Neufeld that he had a lovely Irish toast for them, and proceeded to teach the pair how to say "An bhfuil cead agam dul go dtí an leithreas, más é to thoil é?"
Describing it as a "famous Irish phrase, passed down from generation to generation", Herlihy kept the gag going and joked that the line meant "I'll love you when you're old and grey, but I certainly won't be living with you".
Skip to the four minute mark to see the toast.
