At this time of year we can’t imagine going out in less than four layers never mind stripping down to our delicates and running through the town!
But that’s exactly what a hundred or so people did in Budapest on Sunday and no it wasn’t some crazy cult. It was all in the name of charity.
Boston and Budapest have both held half-naked Santa runs this year.
A large group of people stripped down to their underwear to take part in a 3km half-naked Santa run at the weekend in below freezing temperatures.
As well as sporting a few festive accessories the runners also sang carols, did the conga and posed for photographs.
As well as running, the participants danced and sang carols.
But as we said, they’re not just doing it for the laugh. The money raised goes towards a number of children’s charities.
And believe it or not, Budapest isn’t the only place it’s happening. One took place in Boston recently as well. Who knows, the next one might be in Dublin?!
