It’s a Yes From Me: Man Recognises Girl Who Hit Him With Stolen Car On X Factor

You’d think the worst thing that could happen to you after appearing on The X Factor would be your friends laughing at how badly you sing.

But for one former hopeful, she ended up being taken in by police and charged with a number of driving offences.

 

Paige (far left) was recognised when she appeared on the talent show.

Paige Flaherty, who auditioned as part of girl band Twisted on the show back in 2011, was reportedly spotted by the man she hit with a stolen car.

The 19-year-old apparently hit a pedestrian called Chris Brown (we know, what are the chances?) with a stolen pink Mini only a matter of weeks before her 15 minutes of fame. She then gave him incorrect contact details.

 

She apparently hit a pedestrian in Newcastle weeks before her TV debut.

It was only when Mr Brown, who suffered a number of bruises during the incident, saw her on the television that he called the police.

According to The Shields Gazette, Paige pleaded guilty to stealing a vehicle and driving with no insurance at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court. She will be sentenced n April.
