It's Christmas In London! Selfridges Have Opened Their Christmas Shop
Yes, you did read that right.
Don’t worry guys, we had to double check the calendar too and you haven’t gone crazy, it is still August – and the start of it at that.
But for Selfridges in London, Christmas has certainly come early as the world-famous store has officially opened their Christmas shop.
According to reports, the shop has opened its doors 143 days early and is selling everything from tinsel to fake fir trees.
Over 3,000 square feet of the store’s fourth floor has been transformed for the festive shop and you might even get to visit Santa while you’re there.
Bosses at the store revealed that they hoped tourists would avail of the opportunity to pick up their favourite Christmas decorations while visiting London.
“Despite the summer weather, we’re in full festive mode here at Selfridges,” Geraldine James said.
“We’ve been working on this year’s Christmas Shop since Christmas last year.
“We have so many customers visiting from all over the world and eager to snap up festive souvenirs on their summer holidays, which they can’t buy at home.”
