It’s that time of year again as championship season kicks off with a bang and for the camogie stars nationwide, there’s some tough challenges ahead.

This weekend, all eyes will be on the show-stopping opener in Tullamore where Cork meet Galway. The pair last met in the Division 1 League final, where Galway shocked the reigning All-Ireland champions in a thriller to be crowned winners.

Now Cork will need to defend their championship title in the upcoming clash on Sunday at 3pm, which is part of a double-header with the Leinster GAA Senior Championship hurling semi-final meeting between Galway and Laois.

Elsewhere in the senior championship, Limerick will face off to Offaly, while Dublin and Kilkenny go head-to-head in Parnell Park.

The camogie association has also launched their new campaign, Our Game Your Game, where you can keep up to date with all the action in this year’s championship.
