It’s Toy Story… But Not As You Know It: Classic Film is Recreated Without Using Any Animation

We have to say that we admire the sheer dedication and determination of the people behind this YouTube clip, because God only knows how many hours it took them to make it!

Yes, believe it or not, someone has gone to the trouble of recreating Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story frame-by-frame using real toys.

The video, which was put together by JonasonsMovies, features all our favourite characters (that’s Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep if your memory is a little hazy) all played out in a real-life setting with strings and other things ‘animating them.’

The video was only uploaded yesterday, but already it’s starting to go viral and honestly? We can see why. It’s pretty awesome that someone would take the time to recreate the first ever feature-length animated film.

According to YouTube, the director of this version of Toy Story actually visited the Pixar Studios in order to get their approval to make the film. They said it was okay and thus, the quirky project got the green light.

Amazing or what?
