Denise Welch has quit Loose Women after ten years on the popular daytime show.
The former Coronation Street star revealed the news after a meeting with new ITV boss Helen Warner on Friday evening.
Denise is the latest personality to leave Loose Women.
The 55-year-old actress told the Sunday Mirror: “Yes, I’ve quit. I was hurt that changes were made and kept a secret, and that the person responsible for the decisions hadn’t come and talked to me about it.”
She added: “Every show needs a shake-up. But the way the show’s going I’ve felt that my wings have been clipped. Fundamentally the fun of the show is what made it for me, and I feel the way it’s going is losing the fun of it.”
Coleen Nolan will be returning to her seat on the panel this month.
But while Denise is waving goodbye to the show, just like Carol McGiffin, it was announced last week that Coleen Nolan and Kaye Adams are returning to the panel at the end of this month.
