One punter will be feeling the hit to their pocket this morning after Ladbrokes revealed today that somebody had placed a £10,000 bet on Jimmy Bullard to win I’m A Celebrity.

The bookie reported that their biggest ever bet in I’m A Celebrity history was placed on Jimmy after his heroics with Kendra in the Terror Tavern. The customer from West London was so convinced that Jimmy could not do any wrong after that episode aired that they put a whopping ten grand on the fact.

Unfortunately for the unlucky customer though, Jimmy was booted off the show on Monday night in what was truly a shock elimination.  Jimmy had been an outsider for chances of getting eliminated on Monday and was in fact at 4/7 favourite to win the whole thing.

“Bullard’s bully-boy banter has blown the betting wide open,” said Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes. “Having been the odds-on favourite just a few days ago, to then be evicted first, easily makes this one of the biggest upsets in reality TV history.”

Now, it is former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden who has claimed the top spot to win the show, as he is 5/4 favourite to win out the show. Melanie Sykes is next, with Kendra and Vicki the two least likely to win according to the odds. Irish model Nadia Forde is 33/1.
