Just As Funny In “Real Life”: Modern Family Crew Tweet And Video Their Stuck-In-A-Lift Great Escape

There’s nothing like a little modern family bonding. So what better way to spend quality time with each other than being far too close, for far too long in a stuck lift?

Modern Family cast members Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet tweeted a photo of themselves and Jesse Tyler Ferguson stuck in a Kansas City service elevator for nearly an hour on Friday night.

Stonestreet, who plays stay-at-home dad Cameron on the show, looked less than thrilled to be trapped with co-stars. However, he tweeted that he handled the situation better than he imagined.

Ferguson videoed the experience, yelling “Get Us Out!” along with fellow passengers.

After an hour, Kansas City firefighters came to the rescue and passengers had to climb out of the elevator using a ladder.

Ferguson also videoed the escape and said Bowen was lucky she was wearing knickers…
