Considering the crazy weather we have had today, you could understand if a GAA game (or twenty) had to be called off.
However, the students of Castlepollard and Dunboyne are clearly a hardy bunch as they took to the pitch today for the Leinster C schools hurling final in St. Loman’s Park.
We have absolutely no idea how they managed to see the sliotar but fair dues to them for playing on regardless.
Castlepollard won the game but we're going to give them both credit for suffering freezing temperatures.
