How’s your sex life? Are you looking for that extra bit of spice in the bedroom?
If you feel nothing more can be done to maximise your post-dusk antics, all is well. If however, you feel that stress or overworking is preventing you from relaxing and enjoying a passionate session with your partner, these tips could solve all, or at least get you closer to what you want…
A low sex drive can be as a result of many reasons; stress, lack of sleep, hormonal imbalances, excess weight…
It’s not just you, it affects millions of people around the world, men and women alike. But intimacy and sex with your partner is important and a lack of desire could mean your body needs a detox.
Getting rid of the toxins and pollutants in your body is the first step to boosting your sex drive, feeling better about your body and getting your bedroom life all fizzy again…
According to health and wellbeing website MindBodyGreen, these following five detox tips can get you all sexed up in no time:
1. Get Rid Of Refined Sugar
Refined sugar adds to your waist line, can disrupt your sleep patterns, creates havoc in your hormones and makes you age quickly. Skip the spoon of sugar in your tea and keep an eye on what you are eating during the day, making sure none of them are sugar-heavy. Weaning yourself off sugar can result in better energy levels, a better mood and, ta-dah!, a better night in with your partner.
2. Get All Your Minerals
Make sure you get your daily intake of necessary minerals. These will keep your digestion strong and your organs pushing toxins and pollutants out. Minerals are needed for balancing your endocrine system which regulates mood and stress, exactly what your sex drive needs to speed up again!
3. Get Into Yoga
It’s what all the celebrities are doing, now we might know why! Yoga helps you improve breathing, your posture and allows you to become aware of your own body. It stimulates all the elimination systems, helping to remove waste products that can cause fatigue, disease and a less-than-desirable libido. Why not follow in Miranda Keer’s footsteps and try Bikram yoga…?
4. Get Green
This is a simple tip. Green vegetables contain high levels of chlorophyll. This helps your body clean itself of heavy metals and is a known anti-oxidant and anti-carcinogenic. As you detox and improve your energy, your sex drive will improve too…
5. Get Outside
Daily exercise like walking, jogging and lifting weights will ensure your body burns fat and calories and, most importantly, sweats. Drink plenty of water, maybe add a slice of lemon, to aid the recovery of your metabolism. Your body will be well up for the next love session...
....now ladies, get going!
