Kate Middleton revealed her school nickname and we love her even more

Another reason to love Kate.

Our school days are responsible for landing us with some very unfortunate nicknames and whether you like it or not, they often tend to stick even after you’ve bypassed those awkward teenage years.

Looking at the Duchess of Cambridge now, you wouldn’t think that there was ever a time when she was anything other than graceful and elegant but even she was given a nickname during her school days.

Kate and her sister Pippa were named after the school’s guinea pigs, Pip and Squeak.

Pippa’s nickname isn’t exactly imaginative, Pippa is basically shortened to Pip so by default, Kate ended up with Squeak but we think it’s all kinds of adorable.

According to The Mirror, Kate came over all nostalgic and recalled the memory when visiting her old school, St Andrews, in Pangbourne, Berkshire back in 2012.

For some reason, the story is only coming to prominence now but it proves yet again how down-to-earth and friendly this royal is.
