Kilkenny Make It Two From Two In Thrilling Weekend of Camogie Action

Kilkenny camogie team made it two wins from two in this year’s Liberty Insurance senior championship following an emphatic win over Clare.

The women in black and amber showed no mercy as they drove to a 2-22 to 0-6 win over Clare, notching an impressive 2-20 from play.

Meanwhile, All-Ireland champions Cork secured their first win in this year’s campaign when they edged victory over Limerick in a tough and competitive game.

Cork had suffered defeat at the hands of Galway last weekend, but came up trumps against last year’s intermediate champions Limerick with a 1-14 to 1-10 win.

Elsewhere, Wexford got their campaign off to a good start with a 4-11 to 0-13 win over Offaly, while Tipperary edged out Derry in a cracker by 3-12 to 4-8.
