This lad had a fairly strange final wish for his potential funeral goers

Whatever you want, Jasper.

funeral

Alright, so.

Colonel Jasper Miles MBE passed away earlier this month in his home.

The 89-year-old was a beloved husband, father of two kids, and grandfather to two more.

Jasper had a private family burial, suggesting that he didn’t want anyone making too much of a big deal about his death.

However, there was one request mentioned in his death notice that took this no-fuss-funeral to another level.

Jasper asked that “no-one should miss a day’s shooting or hunting to attend.”

Well alright then.

The death notice was spotted in the paper by British MP Stewart McDonald, who took it upon himself to share the lovely request on Twitter.

He captioned it only with Jasper’s final wish.

It speaks for itself, really.

We have a few theories about Jasper’s last wish.

Either he was so obsessed with hunting that the very thought of someone skipping a day of killing rabbits repulsed him to his very core.

… Or he was such a nice fellow that he just wanted his mates to do something they enjoyed while they remembered him.

Either way, Jasper is certainly a guy who knows what he wants.

Fair play to him.
