Finding a new place to live can be a nightmare – from crazy housemates to filthy bathrooms, anyone who has ever done a houseshare probably has a story to tell but for one prospective tenant, her dream house turned out to be a nightmare.
Taking to Twitter, Londoner @lauraevelyn1, revealed a list of 31 bizarre house rules that the live-in landlord of a premises she was considering moving into had given her.
The 31 instructions included limiting showering times to 15 minutes, not using the cooker for longer than 30 minutes at a time and any dishes left in the sink unwashed would incur a £15 fine!
Several other actions like having friends over and “abusing” the electricity were forbidden and anyone deemed too noisy would only be given one change to “calm down”.
On several occasions, the landlord threatens to take back the deposit as he “sees fit” and also threatens eviction.
Understandaby Laura declined the offer to move in!
