She's some woman...

Now THIS is serious dedication.

When you’re at your Debs, you’re all dolled up, looking gorgeous and having a few drinks with the girls.

You’re chilling out after the stressful year that was the Leaving Cert and just having a giggle, with no responsibilities or troubles on your mind.

One extremely dedicated lady made the decision to leave her Debs ball to play a match for her local football team.

Laois lady Emma Finlay left her Debs to play the semi-final for the local Shanahoe ladies football team, who posted the photo of the ambitious teenager.

In a status, the team thanked their favourite corner back for leaving her ceremony and playing the match:

“Well done to Emma who left her debs this evening to help Shanahoe to an emphatic 3.11 to 0.01 win against Graiguecullen in the Laois People’s First Credit Union Intermediate  Championship semi final.
Emma played a starring role at corner back. Hats off to Emma for her commitment to the team! Enjoy your night!!”

After helping her team get through to the Ladies Intermediate Championship final, the footballing Debutante made it back to her peers with a winning medal in hand

People voiced their admiration for the young player who managed to be in two places in just the one night.
