Irish men are often referred to as 'chancers' and stories like this one are the reason why.
Everyone and their mothers were tuned in for the Superbowl game on Sunday night but two Irish lads had a better view than most.
Richard Whelan and his mate had hoped to bag a ticket for the big game but when prices got too high, they decided to fly over and chance their luck with one of the touts outside the University Of Phoenix stadium.
With no luck on the ticket front, they decided to do what any champion blagger would do... walk right in the main entrance.
And it worked, as security didn't even notice them!
"We snuck into the Super Bowl straight through the front door! It was absolutely insane. Tough loss for the hawks but great experience. Ended up in 4th row in seats that were worth $25,000 each, sitting next to Lawyer Milloy, one of the best safeties that played for the Pats. Unreal stuff!"
Absolute. Heroes.
