Support The Fighting Blindness Sporting Gala Dinner
The annual Fighting Blindness Sporting Gala Dinner takes place again this Saturday 31st January in the Conrad Hotel, Dublin 2. The gala kicks off the charity’s fundraising activities for the year, with sporting legends Shane Byrne, Mick Galwey, Philip Doyle, David Casey, Ruby Walsh and Brian Cooper joining the evening to discuss their insights and expertise on the upcoming sporting season.
As well as an evening of sporting fun on all things rugby and horse racing, take part in the silent auction to help support a charity working on behalf of 224,000 people affected by sight loss in Ireland.

Get In A Flapper Over A 1920’s Ball For BUMBLEance
Extraordinary Events are hosting a Valentine’s Day celebration for BUMBLEance - the children's ambulance, who are currently raising money for their second ambulance of service. Set in the Osprey Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare, the night will kick off with a drinks reception, followed by a four-course dinner and entertainment until 1.30am! Tickets are €75 each or €700 for a table of ten with all proceeds going to BUMBLEance!
Sponsor UCD On Their Cycle For Crumlin
UCD are taking on a cycling trek this weekend, with a sponsored cycle from Dublin to Galway to raise much needed funds for the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation, in Our Lady’s Children Hospital, Crumlin.

Take Some Time To Support Hand in Hand Children’s Charity
Hand In Hand are a non-governmental organisation hoping to alleviate some of the stress, anxiety and practical difficulties faced by families who have a child undergoing treatment for cancer, through the provision of practical (household laundry, support with childcare, domestic cleaning services & family meals) and emotional support.
Receiving no state assistance, Hand in Hand is the only Children's Cancer Charity providing practical & emotional support throughout treatment which for most children extends to years.
Lilly- Mae’s mum Judith Sibley has stepped up to share how Hand In Hand helped her.
