It’s Pancake Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday, The Day Before Lent… whatever way you’re looking at today, it’s time to kick nack and enjoy some pancakes.

Ireland will crack a whopping 15 million eggs today as we all go pancake crazy before the beginning of Lent tomorrow.

Seventy-five per cent of Irish said they preferred a more traditional topping of lemon, butter or sugar for their sweet and savoury treats, according to a new survey by Bord Bia.
