Kilkenny on Ice is a new attraction to MacDonagh Junction this year and it is proving really popular. Located beside Dunnes Stores, couples can make a night of it by shopping before donning their skates. Relax afterwards with a coffee or hot chocolate in one of the restaurants in the very festive feeling Workhouse Square in MacDonagh Junction complete with a new 6 foot LED polar bear.

If you really want the five star experience, it’s a must to try Campagne in the city. The Courtyard Bar & Grill is a really nice restaurant and its located in MacDonagh Junction, or if you just want a casual bite, Eddie Rockets will hit the spot! There are lots of other options too… Kilkenny is perfect for foodies.
