As well as the classics (witches, Draculas etc.) there’ll be plenty of topical costumes based on hit TV shows or major events that have happened throughout the year; expect to see a lot of Donald Trumps and Teresa Mannions, for example.
Not many people decide to dress up as their dog’s favourite toy, but one man did just that and, thanks to the reaction of his best friend, the video has been going viral in recent days.
