We're not sure what he was thinking when he got the tattoo but Maine policemen were not amused.
Armed policemen descended on a man's home in Maine when members of a tree removal crew who were working on his property reported that he had a gun.
The man, who was known by police for a previous arrest, was this time asked if he had any weapons.
“I said, ‘Yeah, I got this gun on me all the time. It’s tattooed on,’” Smith said.
With the man's shirt was off, it seemed as if the gun was tucked into his waistband but he told police that tattoo had never been a problem before.
It was all just a misunderstanding, both Smith and police agreed. Police didn't charge him after the confusion was cleared up.
