Man waiting on a prosthetic leg makes his own out of lego

A creative answer to his problem!

An English man who lost his leg to diabetes was waiting on a prosthetic leg when he decided to fashion his own for the time being.

Marc Cronin, from Oldbury, in the West Midlands thought that rather than wait around for his new leg to arrive he thought it would ‘fun’ to come up with an alternative while we waited.

The idea came to him when he was playing with his child.

“I decided to build a Lego leg because me, my wife Lianne and my daughter Alice were playing with the Lego and it seemed like a fun idea,” he  told the Telegraph.

He initially posted the image to reddit with the caption: Built myself a lego leg while I wait for my real one to be built.

Marc has said that he can’t get very far on the lego leg but he can stand on it. And has an adorable reason for not sticking it together permanently.

“I didn’t glue it together because I didn’t want to ruin my daughter’s Lego. It is currently standing in the corner of the living room like a piece of art.”

He also said that his diabetes went undiagnosed for a possible ten years.

“I am disappointed my diabetes wasn’t diagnosed sooner but I don’t let it get to me. There are a lot worse things I could have which is why I stay positive,” he said.
