Speaking to Her.ie, Gemma explained: "Just for fun someone requested a look alike version of my brother and it took off from that.
"Then for the craic the Mayo boys were requested. And then more recently Marty.
"I work full time so I do them over a few evenings and it generally ends up taking the week but probably 10-12 hours collectively. The longest part to do is the face."
When asked to choose between her crochet children, Gemma said: "I couldn't pick one as my favourite but I don't usually keep them for myself and I did keep the version of Animal I crocheted. I think it's just because he is so bright and funky.
"I also was able to get Aidan O'Sheas one to him and he posted a beautiful picture on Instagram, I think he was impressed!"
"I am planning on doing a Ryan Tubridy Christmas jumper version for the Toy Show, but I am open to suggestions of what to do next!"
One of the entire Her.ie team, perhaps? And maybe a Robert Downey Jr/Tom Hardy/Idris Elba to keep us company. Just a suggestion mind.
