Kensington Palace announced the news yesterday that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child. As the Duke and Duchess embarked on their first tour as a married couple in Australia, the news broke and the pair look absolutely beaming with joy. On the first day of their royal tour, Meghan stepped out in a cream shift dress by Australian designer Karen Gee (with the dress being aptly named 'Blessed'). However, the newlywed wore some other things that were very special. Meghan teamed her dress with some simple jewellery - a gold bracelet and some diamond butterfly earrings. The Daily Mail has noted that Princess Diana wore the same jewellery on her royal tour to Canada in 1986. And even as she changed outfit today, she kept the jewellery on. How sweet! Meghan also donned Princess Diana's jewellery during her wedding reception in May, wearing an aquamarine ring that was previously worn by the late Princess. Harry also added in some of his mum's diamonds to his wife's engagement ring. He said at the time: "The ring is yellow gold because that's [Meghan's] favourite. The main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds on the side are from my mother’s jewellery collection, to make sure she’s with us on this crazy journey together."
