A new survey has revealed that both men and women agree there is nothing more annoying on a first date than someone on their phone. Dating site, whatsyourprice.com interviewed tens of thousands of people to find out what REALLY annoys us on a first date, and compiled a list of the top five no-nos. Take note, daters! For Women (based on responses from 63,460 members) 1. Cellphone use – 30% 2. Inappropriate touching – 28% 3 Rudeness to waitstaff – 14% 4 Negativity – 11% 5 Excessive drinking – 6% For Men (based on responses from 45,349 members) 1. Cell phone use – 25% 2. Rudeness to waitstaff – 21% 3. Unengaged in conversation – 16% 4. Negativity – 14% 5. Excessive drinking – 11% The answers were similar across the board, except where women hate inappropriate touching, men dislike their date to be unengaged in conversation. And here was us thinking it was men who don't listen.
