Merlin’s beard! This Harry Potter Easter egg will sort you into your Hogwarts house

It would fit right in at Honeydukes.

A chocolatier has created a Harry Potter-inspired Easter egg that will cast a spell over sweets fans.

The folks at the Slattery Patissier & Chocolatiers in Manchester came up with The Sorting Egg – and it sounds absolutely magical.

According to the Independent, the black easter egg has a golden lightning bolt on the front of it, a sugar paste Sorting Hat and (of course) a mini wand made out of pretzel.

But the chocolate egg really lives up to its name when you open it.

Once you crack into the chocolate, you will see a scroll that will tell you which one of the Hogwarts houses – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff – you have been sorted into.

And there’s plenty of milk chocolate chocolates, too.

Slattery’s Patissier and Chocolatier in Whitfield debuted the egg on Facebook last Saturday, with plenty of people in the comments hoping to get their hands on one.

But, in a bit of bad news, the shop confirmed that the handmade creation cannot be purchased online.

Since it’s too delicate to ship, you have to pop into the shop to pick one up.

If only we had a bit of floo powder.
