Nigelissima – BBC2 (20:30-21:00)

In her new series, celebrity chef Nigella Lawson shows us how to bring the spirit of Italy to our kitchens, using ingredients found in a typical Irish supermarket… mmm! Bellissimo! In this first show, Nigella introduces us to spectacular yet simple Sicilian pasta with tomatoes, garlic and almonds.

999: What’s Your Emergency? – Channel 4 (21:00-22:00)

This week’s programme focuses on relationships. We see what it’s like when the emergency operators are inundated with petty calls ranging from arguments over the television remotes to who gets the kitten when they are splitting up. These people actually dial 999? Has to be seen to be believed.

Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model – Sky Living (21:00-22:00)

Star of The Hills and America’s Next Top Model judge gives the girls a good old grilling in Toronto ahead of next week’s final… and our lovely Cork girl Lisa is still in the running!

Scenes of riots involving travellers have become all too common. Tune in tonight to examine the issues of conflict in the travelling community. The travelling community opens up, despite it being unusual to speak out publicly.

Moulin Rouge – TG4 (21:30-23:55)

This 2001 musical could be the perfect thing to cheer up a rainy night. Think bohemian revolution, plenty of singing, the handsome Ewan McGregor and a traumatic love story… Bonjour Moulin Rouge!
