We imagine that writing a song must be a difficult task. Writing one that finds it’s way in to the top of the charts even more difficult. Every now and again some of our favourite artists get it wrong. It happens.
Bad lyrics can sometimes slip through the radar without being noticed or questioned. What constitutes as the worst lyrics is as subjective as to what constitutes the greatest, but sometimes there really is no argument.
With a few classics creeping through, not to mention the odd one-hit-wonder, and of course those songs that somehow made it to the top of the charts… Here are some of the lyrics that we love to hate.
