A Canadian mother has taken to the Internet to appeal for help in making her son’s birthday as special as possible.
13-year-old Odin has Asperger’s and experiences trouble making friends due to his condition. He has been bullied by classmates at his school and when he sent out invitations for his birthday (which takes place today, Friday March 20th), not one person said they would attend.
Despite the setback, Odin’s mother has decided to go ahead with the celebrations by taking Odin bowling and has invited the public to come and share his special day.
In an effort to make sure the teenager feels loved on his birthday, she has also published the number of his phone and asked people to text him birthday wishes.
