Tributes have been paid this evening to MTV star Diem Brown, who has passed away from cancer aged just 32.
Brown is best known for her appearances on the channel’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge and was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer when she was 23.
However, she overcame the disease before being dealt a crushing blow in 2012 when it was confirmed that the condition has returned.
The popular star was again given the all-clear before being rushed to hospital with stomach pains in August and being diagnosed with cancer in her colon and stomach lining.
Brown remained defiant throughout her battle, sending the below tweet on Tuesday, but tragically passed away in hospital earlier today.
I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing!

In a statement, MTV described her as “a true fighter (who) brought passion to everything she touched”.
Prior to her death, Brown set up a foundation called MedGift.com, an online gift registry enabling those with medical troubles to seek financial help as well as physical and emotional support.
