My Life As FDOTUS – Bo Obama’s Diary Entry

"I feel like Anne Frank (although I'm willingly sharing my diary)

Hi folks,

Bo Obama here, The First Dog Of The United States. I’m thrilled to be sharing my diary with you, I feel like Anne Frank (although I am willing sharing this, haha!).

This morning I woke up early enough. Barack likes to go for a walk in the mornings and sure God be good to him, I tend to act excited even though I’m usually half asleep.

We went all around the grounds of The White House and afterwards, Barack gave me a treat while he downed a glass of Berocca (he calls them Berocca Bama, the big eejit).

Michelle got the girls ready to head off to school, I went with them in the car. I saw a really big dog on the way and would’ve given my left paw to have a sniff of his arse, but we were driving so Michelle wouldn’t pull over.

I sat beside Sasha in the car. Malia was in a bit of a mood because Michelle wouldn’t let her finish Hollyoaks before bed last night. She’s dead right – it’s garbage. To be fair, I owe everything to Malia. She’s allergic to everything, so they had to get a hypoallergenic dog. That’s how I came about 🙂

I’m the big 7 now. Hard to believe it. I’ve a sister called Sunny, she’s 3 and a ferocious little witch at the best of times. She’s as giddy! I just want to have a sit-down and a read of the paper, but she’s always jumping up and down and yapping like a mad woman. She’ll be the death of me! We took one of those dog shaming photographs earlier. It was gas.

The afternoon was spent like most days, I did a Sudoku, watched a few more episodes of Making A Murderer, had a chicken wrap for lunch and then bothered with a few of Barack’s shoes for a while. I’m a sucker for leather.

Things really kick off when Barack gets home. Tonight was spaghetti bolognese night and by Christ did I make a pig of myself. Sasha kept feeding me under the table, she’s a divil. As long as you’re with family, it doesn’t matter how much of a mess you make. That bolognese though. I nearly needed a wash afterwards. It went EVERYWHERE.

After dinner we all chatted. I proposed repainting The White House a light magenta shade, but as usual I was ignored. Sometimes I feel like they don’t listen to me around here. Sunny did a “whoopsie” on the carpet in the oval office again. Michelle was livid. I was delighted. Sunny’s a thick.

I’m tucked up in bed now. I had a lovely day with the people I love. I’m looking forward to moving into our new house next year. I’ve heard it’s going to be a bit smaller but that suits me just fine. I’m adorable in any location.

I’ve enjoyed sharing my diary, might do it again soon.

All the best,

paw

Bo Obama.
