If you’re not a morning person and heavily rely on the strength of a good coffee for an early start, there’s a new alarm clock you’re really going to love.

A British designer Josh Renouf has come up with the perfect solution to begrudging morning people – an alarm clock that makes you a cup of coffee as you snooze.

Renouf’s alarm-clock coffee brewing machine, the Barisieur, is designed to wake you up with the delicious smell of freshly brewing coffee. The only effort it requires is for the sleeper to top up the machine the night before, filling it with ground coffee, water, and milk or sugar as per taste.

The Engadget accessory isn’t for sale yet, but Renouf is guesstimating a retail price of anywhere between €200 and €350.

Although you could save up your pennies by replacing all your trips to the local coffee shop with your morning wake-up call.
