Need inspo for Christmas catch-ups? You can drink as you craft at this Dublin distillery

Looking for something a little bit different to do this holiday season?

Planning the annual friends’ Christmas get-together can be a bit of a ‘mare sometimes. Not everyone can agree on a place, not everyone can agree on something to do, the usual.

So to save yourself all the hassle in the group chat, send the gals these suggestions.

ROE and Co Whiskey Distillery is hosting three festive ‘craft and cocktail’ afternoons – how wholesome, how cute. So while you have a cheeky lunch drink, you can also learn how to make something festive, and of course get a cute pic for the ‘gram.

The events include wreath making, DIY up-styling and mending workshop with Sustainable Fashion Dublin and festive grazing board workshop. Basically every YouTube tutorial we’ve searched this past month…

We visited the Distillery last week where they had a sneak peek of the workshops. Within five minutes we had a gorgeous cocktail in hand and were already learning how to make sustainable make-up wipes.

Instead of chucking out cotton pads or makeup wipes after every wash, damaging both the environment AND your face, the ladies of Sustainable Fashion Dublin taught us to upcycle old towels. With the most basic of sewing skills we created cute little square face clothes that can be used again and again!

If you’ve yet to visit the distillery now is your perfect chance, and we have to say it’s one of the prettiest distillery tours we’ve ever done. “Prettiest distillery” may sound weird, but trust us, you’ll understand once you’ve been.

Tickets include a distillery tour, two festive cocktails (which we can confirm are divine), nibbles and of course the workshop for just €25.
