“Neighbours, Everybody Needs Good Neighbours” – Strange But Funny Act of Kindness

“That’s when good neighbours, becoooooome good friends…” 

That theme tune is likely to be stuck in your head all day after seeing this one.

Whereas nowadays most of us barely know our neighbours' names, it seems that neighbourly behaviour is alive and well in some parts of the United States at least.

This note, with accompanying $50 bill was snapped and posted on image-sharing site Imgur last night by one very impressed gentleman, with the caption:

“This was slid under my door this morning... best neighbor ever? i love people again” 

And so he might, as his kind neighbour in Apartment 3F shared his condolences, having seen the gentleman’s lady friend pack her belongings and move out earlier that day.

In time-honoured tradition 3F assured his neighbour that there were ‘other fish in the sea’, but in a less common move he also provided a $50 bill, to be broken into ‘ones’ along with the command ‘get your ass to the strip club’. 

We’d be more likely to drop a giant tub of Ben & Jerry’s, and the euro equivalent of €38 probably wouldn’t get you too far in an Irish strip club anyway… (not to mind the fact that breaking it into euro coins is not something we think any stripper would thank you for)… but we still have to say it – nice move neighbour.
