Ladies, no matter what you’re doing today, you might want to rejig your schedule so you can spend some quality, ahem, “alone time” with your other half. Why? Well, according to a new survey, getting down and dirty is best done on a Thursday. Yes, really.
Popular consumer magazine Which? Conducted a bit of research in order to discover which days of the week were the best days for doing certain things. The results show that having a bit of raunchy romantic time with himself on a Thursday morning is actually good for your health and your sex drive.
Researchers at the London School of Economics conducted a special study which found that natural cortisol levels – the levels which stimulate our sex hormones are, for some unknown reason, at their highest on a Thursday.
This means that not only are you likely to experience a more mind-blowing session, you’re also likely to benefit from increased relaxation afterwards. And hey, we all know that some sexy time is great for your immune system, so you’ll get a boost in that department as well. Score.
So what are the best days for doing other stuff? According to the research, if you want to go grocery shopping you should do it on a Wednesday because it is apparently the least crowded day in supermarkets. Want to skip the queues? Simply do your shopping after 8pm.

Trying to sell your home? Put it up for sale on a Friday.
If you want to sell your home, Which? Advises that you list it on a Friday. According to American estate agent Redfin, homes listed on a Friday are likely to be snapped up quicker than homes listed on any other day of the week.
And finally, if you want to get yourself a bit of an increase when it comes to your wages, ask for a raise on a Wednesday. 7 out of 10 managers surveyed by Office Angels, a recruitment company, said that Wednesday was the best day for employees to approach their bosses about a raise.
So there you have it. Will you be planning your week according to the above information?
