Met Éireann has issued TWO more weather warnings.
The first relates to counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick and it’s a wind warning in operation from 12pm today until 3pm tomorrow.
Expect southwest winds to reach “speeds between 50 and 65 km/hr with gusts between 65 and 80 km/h, with strongest winds on the coasts”.
The second is for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo and is valid from 3pm tomorrow until 6am on St Stephen’s Day.
During this time period, the national forecaster predicts “westerly winds will reach mean speeds between 50 and 65 km/hr with gusts between 90 and 110 km/h, strongest winds on the coasts”.
Of course, Storm Conor is also on the horizon so all in all, you’ll need to take extra care over the next few days.
