New York Premiere of The Dark Knight Rises Brings the Stars Out

The stars took to the red carpet for the New York premiere of The Dark Knight Rises last night and what a red carpet it was.

All of the A-list cast were there including Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy and Morgan Freeman.

Christian Bale and Gary Oldman smile for the cameras on the red carpet. 

Many of the cast including Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine have starred in all three of the films while Tom Hardy who plays Bane is a new addition. 

Tom Hardy looked dashing in his suit ahead of the New York screening. 

Leading ladies Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard looked stunning among their handsome male co-stars. Both opted for white gowns although in very different styles.

Anne Hathaway, who plays Catwoman in the film, wore white on the red carpet. 

Hathaway went for a full length, low-cut peplum style while Cotillard decided on a short cocktail style.

Marion Cotillard showed off her fabulous figure and sense of style in a short white dress. 

Pharrell Williams, Penn Badgley and Michelle Trachtenberg were just a few of the other stars that turned up for the hotly-anticipated film.

The Dark Knight Rises is the final chapter of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and is set to hit Irish cinemas this weekend.
