Meanwhile Edel Thornton picked up the Women’s Premier League Young Player of the Year award for the second time in three years.
Elsewhere, Jennifer Morabito is the Women’s Division One Player of the Year while coach of Portlaoise Panthers Peter O’Sullivan retained his Coach of the Year title in this Division as the Midlanders won two out of the three trophies they fought for.

Speaking after the announcement, Basketball Ireland Secretary General Bernard O’Byrne said: “These awards reflect the high standards set by the basketball community in Ireland.
"Players, coaches and officials across every strata of the game are constantly striving to improve and the sport of basketball can only improve with them.”
