It’s still a few days until Mother’s Day but that didn’t stop Seán from giving his mam Mary an early present.
But it wasn’t your normal present, the nine-year-old gave her an envelope containing two €5 notes and a heartbreaking note which read:
“To Mommy.
I don’t have anything to give you for mothers day. Take this in case I don’t have something by then.
Love Seán xxxx”
Mary was so chuffed with the gift that she sent in a picture of the note to the Beat Breakfast Show on Beat 102-103.
She said: “So what more could I want for Mother’s Day as I already have the most loving and caring 9-year-old son ever, to think of giving his mum something like this, how cute!”
