They may be overseas, but they're still on our very long Christmas present list...
You've missed the date to send packages to the U.S. or Australia in time for Christmas by standard post, but there's always International couriers, (or receiving Christmas presents in January 2016 might be their thing).
All that you could possibly need to know about sending
those last minute Christmas gifts can be read here.
Here is a list of 10 presents that Irish abroad will appreciate as they spend the holiday season away from loved ones. They're also pretty cheap, you can thank us later.
1. Christmas Candle
If they can’t be at home, at least, make it smell like they are.
2. Taytos

Some authentic Taytos and dips on the big day, they'll be delighted.
3. Festive Pyjamas
The festive fleece ones from Penneys, with some fluffy slippers, to match. The folk in Canada will be delighted.
4. Dairy Milk

We've travelled far and wide, but you can't beat the chocolate of home.
5. Framed Family Photo
It is guaranteed to bring a tear to the eye and ensure a phone call home.
6. Country Relish

The folk in Australia are guaranteed to be throwing a big barbecue on Christmas Day, the day after, the day after that, and probably, more than likely, the day after that as well. What better way for them to impress their Aussie mates than with some country relish?
7. Local Newspaper
The death notices. The local job positions. The classified adds. Such a small piece of home will mean an absolutely huge deal.
8. Caffreys' Snowballs

Christmas just isn't Christmas without some Tunnock's Teacakes or Caffrey Snowballs.
9. Homemade Pudding
A little taste of home.
10. Barry's Tea

Congratulations, you've just made someone's Christmas. Irish tea cannot be topped!
