Left Bank in Kilkenny are giving away a €500 prize for the best costume on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be two DJs to provide the entertainment.

Running from Friday until Monday, the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival offers something a little different for this time of the year. With some of the biggest names in the music industry and the black stuff, it’s bound to be great fun.

The Halloween film festival is being held at the Irish Film Institute in Temple Bar from Thursday to Sunday. From flesh-eating zombies to murderous psychopaths, you are guaranteed for a fright.
